Basic requirements for the Purasan’s installation involve both treatment tank and tablet dispenser assemblies. The treatment tank must be located with 6 feet (1.8 m) of the toilet, with the discharge of the tank below the level of the discharge of the toilet. Installation must be on a level surface, an a vented loop is required. The tablet dispenser assembly must be located 15 inches (37.5 cm) above the treatment tank.

The push button switch on the Purasan’s control panel can be wired to for single button operations that will flush the toilet and activate the treatment cycle.

Developed at the request of Crown Head owners, the Purasan is ideal for use with any of Raritan’s macerating toilets in fresh water applications. A single tablet cartridge is placed in the tablet dispenser and lasts for several hundred treatment cycles.

Maceration and chlorination of waste is the most effective known method of treatment and eliminates the need for holding tanks.

Model Options

Purasan is available in 12, 24, or 32V DC. The PST*02 models are for use with raw water intake toilets and PST*03 is for use with pressurized freshwater or dual toilet installations. Specify voltage when ordering (e.g. PST2402 for 24V).
